Thousands of supporters converged in Yola on Tuesday as Comrade Salihu Mustapha formally declared his bid for the 2027 Adamawa State governorship, transforming the unveiling of his campaign office into a significant political moment.
The event drew a wide range of stakeholders, including party leaders and influential figures within the APC, underscoring Salihu’s growing political network and grassroots appeal.
In his address, Salihu aligned himself with key national figures such as Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nuhu Ribadu, signaling loyalty to party leadership and positioning himself within the broader power structure of the ruling party.
He also commended Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for ongoing development efforts, pledging continuity while promising fresh initiatives tailored to the needs of Adamawa residents.
