Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has officially submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the Senate seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress,APC.

The forms were submitted on Thursday in Abuja by Dr. Umar Duhu on behalf of the governor, following sustained appeals from supporters and party stakeholders urging him to join the race ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Governor Fintiri, who recently confirmed his decision to seek the Senate position, said his choice was guided by extensive consultations with political associates, community leaders, and supporters across the state. He noted that his decision reflects the collective aspirations of the people and expressed confidence in the APC’s chances of securing victory across all elective positions.

Reaffirming his commitment to the party and the people, the governor emphasized the importance of unity, grassroots mobilization, and issue-based politics in strengthening democratic values and advancing the welfare of citizens.

 He also urged party loyalists and supporters to remain peaceful, focused, and dedicated to the success of the APC at every level.

Political analysts believe the submission of the nomination forms marks a significant development in the state’s political landscape, as parties intensify consultations and strategic preparations ahead of the elections.
