2027: COMRADE MUSTAFA BOWS OUT OF ADAMAWA GOVERNORSHIP RACE FOLLOWING APC DIRECTIVES, EYES SENATE SEAT.

A frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, has officially withdrawn from the 2027 governorship contest.
The announcement was made in a statement released by his campaign team, which disclosed that the decision followed consultations and directives from the national leadership of the APC.
Following the development, Salihu will now seek election into the Senate to represent Adamawa Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections.
The campaign organization called on party faithful, coordinators, and supporters across the state to remain calm, united, and focused on strengthening the APC ahead of the polls.
Salihu thanked the people of Adamawa State and members of the APC for the massive support and confidence reposed in him throughout his governorship ambition.
He also reaffirmed his loyalty and support for the administration and second-term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to work for the party’s victory in 2027.
